Tasks and assignments
Tasks track work on cases and leads: call the client, chase a provider, review a draft. Each task has an owner, a due date and a priority.
Where tasks come from
- You — create them from any case or lead.
- Clerkly — records follow-ups for fax/mail/portal requests, escalation tasks for overdue records, and approved Clerk proposals all create tasks automatically.
Where tasks appear
Your tasks show on Today; a case's tasks show on the case page. High-priority items — like a records escalation — surface at the top.
Completing tasks
Mark a task done when the work is finished. Note that a follow-up task doesn't close itself when you click "Log follow-up sent" on a request — the log entry and the task are separate, so mark the task done too.
