Getting started with Clerkly

Clerkly organizes everything around your firm. After signing up you create a firm, pick a plan (every firm starts with a free 14-day trial), and invite your team.

Your first fifteen minutes

  1. Create your firm from the onboarding screen. You'll choose the states you practice in — this drives the deadline rules Clerkly applies.
  2. Invite your team from Settings → Members. Each person gets a role (Owner, Attorney, Case manager, or Staff) that controls what they can see and do.
  3. Open your first case from Cases → New case. Clerkly assigns the case number and computes the statute of limitations automatically.
  4. Check Today each morning — it gathers your deadlines, tasks and Clerk proposals in one place.

Two-step sign-in

Every account uses two-step sign-in (an authenticator app). You'll set it up the first time you sign in, and it protects every firm you belong to.
