The audit log

Settings → Audit log is your firm's complete activity record — who did what, when, and to which record.

What's recorded

  • Case, lead, document and settlement actions
  • Template approvals and sends
  • Trust transactions and reconciliations
  • Member and permission changes
  • Clerk proposal approvals and dismissals
  • Reads of sensitive records

Why it can't be edited

The log is append-only and hash-chained: each entry includes a fingerprint of the one before it, so altering or deleting history breaks the chain and is detectable. Nobody — including platform administrators — can rewrite it.

Using it

Filter by person, action or record to answer "who touched this case?" or "what happened on this settlement?" — the level of detail malpractice carriers and bar inquiries ask for.
